Description

Warli painting is a style of tribal art mostly created by the tribal women from north Sahayadri Range in India. Their extremely rudimentary wall paintings use a very basic graphic vocabulary: a circle, a triangle and a square. The circle and triangle come from their observation of nature, the circle representing the sun and the moon, the triangle derived from mountains and pointed trees.

Everything about Warli is earthy and soothing. Warli paintings and art succeed in adding elegance to a rural hut or a five star hotel lobby with the same charm.

This beautiful handmade and hand painted magazine holder is made using acrylic colours on 8 mm MDF. The classy combination of white and black has its own charm and with warli art it definitely has the ability to steal the look of any table or corner of home as well as office. It has similar art on both sides. Keep for yourself or send as a gift to your loved ones. It will surely be loved by all.

MDF (medium density fibreboard) is an engineered wood composite that is similar to particle board, but is much denser and stronger. The surface of MDF is very smooth and provides perfect base for paintings and other acrylics artworks.

The image showing the artwork on interior wall is only a representative one and does not indicate the actual size of the artwork to scale. For actual size and dimensions of the artwork please see the product details above.
