Warli painting is a style of tribal art mostly created by the tribal women from north Sahayadri Range in India. Their extremely rudimentary wall paintings use a very basic graphic vocabulary: a circle, a triangle and a square. The circle and triangle come from their observation of nature, the circle representing the sun and the moon, the triangle derived from mountains and pointed trees.
Everything about Warli is earthy and soothing. Warli paintings succeed in adding elegance to a rural hut or a five star hotel lobby with the same charm.
This artwork is a set of two paintings made on 8mm MDF using acrylic colours. The black warli art has a textured effect on the most soothing light green colour in base. This set of artwork is created with lot of diligence and patience and is a virtual treat for any onlooker.
MDF (medium density fibreboard) is an engineered wood composite that is similar to particle board, but is much denser and stronger. The surface of MDF is very smooth and provides perfect base for paintings and other acrylic artworks.
The set is ready to hang with hooks provided on back side. Adorn your walls or send as a gift to your loved ones. It will surely make any living space beautiful. The image showing this artwork on interior wall is a representative one and does not indicate size of the artwork to scale. For actual size and dimensions of the artwork please see product details above.
